Lydia has been a client since my early days of starting out, and about once a year we change up her site to reflect her current products and services. With a new private chef service being offered, to jump into a thriving Tasmanian tourism market, it was time to overhaul the site once more. Lydia recently won a competition which gave her prizes in professional photography and videography. While she is still getting those things finalised, we still had enough new photos to get her site launched just before Mothers’ Day. The site needed to be cleaner and lighter, allowing for the food photography to stand out on its own. A simplified colour scheme from her existing branding was implemented, and a new recipe index was added for a number of recipes that have been added to the site over the last three years. I switched her site over to the Genesis framework, which helped to speed up page loading times.
The response to the new site has been fantastic, and a few updates will continue to occur over the new few months as the new photography is finished, and new videos are designed and edited.
